You’ll have to forgive the quiet around here. Life’s been catching up with me and I haven’t had much time for a break.
The 30 Days of Secrets event at Bandit Creek Books has wrapped up, but I highly recommend reading some of the excellent posts, and finding out the secrets of the authors.
I’ve begun work as a freelance editor with the Author’s Red Room, a fantastic group devoted to assisting indie authors in their publishing preparation.
And I’ve been reading and researching for my WIP: books on tenement housing in Chicago, and the history of the Irish American gangster; watching films like Public Enemies and Miller’s Crossing; and scheduling a trip to Chicago in the spring.
However, I will be posting more frequently now that life’s smoothed out into something more manageable!
You did a great job with Secrets, Alyssa, and i’m not surprised you’re now an editor with Red Room. Well done. – they’re lucky to have you.
Thanks Louise 🙂
I’m glad to get the extra work, though it has been a challenge to integrate that work into my schedule, as I do have a full-time day job!
I hear you, Alyssa. There’s so much work we can be doing, isn’t there?
